About

You can learn more about the author (me) at DavidBlomstrom.com.

Very briefly, I was born and raised in rural West Dakota, spent four years in the U.S. Navy, worked as a wildlife biologist in Alaska for almost a decade, then spent over a decade working as a teacher for the Seattle School District. My stint with Seattle Schools, which is notorious corrupt, opened my eyes to politics, transforming me into an activist and a student of political science, psychology, and philosophy.

Loosely speaking, I think of myself as a left-winger, though I despise American liberals. I’ve learned to look at the world around me from different perspectives.

While many right-wingers would call me a traitor, some liberals might dismiss China vs USA as a pointless discussion of the phenomenally obvious. Except many of the things I discuss in my book aren’t obvious to the average U.S. citizen, for a number of reasons. An army of propagandists that never stop bombarding us with lies and disinformation is one of the more obvious problems.

If you’re one of the more politically astute Americans who complain that I’m preaching to the church choir, don’t be too hasty. In fact, China vs USA is part of a trilogy that even people who are political experts will find provocative.

China vs USA Trilogy

China Watch will tentatively be published annually. It will summarize the more notable events and trends of the previous year.

Originally published as a digital book (ebook) in January 2022, China vs USA is being revised and will soon be available as a paperback. Like all of my political books, it is well illustrated. The other two books may be available as ebooks only. However, I might publish them as paperbacks depending on the demand.
